Launched in 2024 to support the French artistic scene, this prize valued at 40,000 euros will reward the career of a living artist chosen from 25 nominees selected by guest curators Amélie Adamo, writer and art historian, and Numa Hambursin, Managing Director of MO.CO. Montpellier, as part of their focus Immortal: a Focus on Figurative Painting in France..
This focus offers a new analysis of figurative painting in France, that will consider the historical context and compare artists from different generations.
